Five-day Summer Fencing School

We will work with instructions from the manuals of Joachim Meyer, P. H. Mair and selected masters of the Lichtenauer line.
Big international fencing school. For the first time in the history of the guild we will have the honour to present the German and Italian schools side by side. The Italian school will be taught by the legendary Roberto Gotti and Jacopo Penso, Opera Nova – Brescia, Italy. Students will have the opportunity to practice both schools in parallel. To compare the beauty and differences under the guidance of the best fencers and wrestlers of today. We have prepared together a very interesting concept of work and practice according to the masters who influenced each other in their time. You will discover the beauty and strengths of both schools. Each is based on a different form of training. The Italian uses the assalti method, the German Stucken - pieces. Both very interestingly lead the students to an understanding of the principle and its corresponding form. There will also be a friendly free fencing according to traditional rules.
Classes will be divided into a morning German and an afternoon Italian session. We will be practicing long sword, dussack and polearms. Lessons will be taught using textbooks by Achille Marozzo, Mancholino and others. The German portion will be taught by Joachim Meyer, Paulus Hector Mair and other selected masters. Lessons will be taught in English. A translator will be on site.
The classes will be taught by guild masters and martial arts instructors from Czech Republic, Germany and Italy.

You will need:
- A long sword
- a wooden stick about 150cm long
- A practice dagger (if you don't have one, you can borrow one for 200kč)
- A wooden Messer ( who does not have a report, it is possible to borrow for 200kč)
- Rapier
- Sportswear, gym shoes
- Personal hygiene items
- Depending on the type of hilt on the sword, it is possible to have leather gloves
We train in the traditional way according to the rules of the Federfechtier fencing fraternity, so there is no need for masks, nor quilted fencing vests or coats.

Budeme pracovat s instrukcemi podle učebnic Joachima Meyera, P. H. Maira a vybraných mistrů Lichtenauerovské linie.
Velká mezinárodní šermířská škola. Poprvé v historii cechu budeme mít tu čest představit Německou a Italskou škole vedle sebe. Italskou školu bude učit legendární Roberto Gotti a Jacopo Penso, Opera Nova - Brescia. Studenti budou mít možnost cvičit paralelně obě školy. Porovnat si krásu a odlišnosti pod vedením těch nejlepších šermířů a zápasníků současnosti. Připravili jsme společně velmi zajímavý koncept práce a cvičení podle mistrů, kteří se ve své době vzájemně ovlivňovali. Poznáte krásu a přednosti obou škol. Každá je založena na jiné formě výcviku. Italská používá metodu assalti, německá Stucken - kusy. Obě velmi zajímavě vedou stuednta k pochopení principu a jemu odpovídající formě. Nebude chybět ani přátelský šerm na volno podle tradičních pravidel.
Výuka bude rozdělena na dopolední německou a odpolední italskou část. Budeme cvičit dlouhý meč, tesák a dřevcové zbraně. Lekce budou vedeny podle učebnic Achille Marozzo, Mancholino a další. Německá část bude učena podle Joachima Meyera, Pauluse Hectora Maira a dalších vybraných mistrů. Výuka bude probíhat v angličtině. Na místě bude i překladatel.
Výuku povedou cechovní mistři a instruktoři bojových umění z CR, Německa a Itálie.

Budete potřebovat:
- Dlouhý meč
- Dřevěnou hůlku cca 150cm dlouhou
- Cvičnou dýku (kdo nemá nahlásí, je možnost zapůjčit za 500kč)
- Tesák dřevěný ( kdo nemá nahlásí, je možnost zapůjčit za 500kč)
- Sportovní oděv nebo historický oděv (plundry) obuv do tělocvičny.
- Věci osobní hygieny.
- Podle typu jílce na meči je možné mít kožené rukavice.
